It's Not You, It's My Insecurities is a piece about relationships and technology but in particular a piece about the self-reflection enabled by the constant storing of messages and data by social media networks and communication channels. Running on software created specifically for this piece, the work gives both the artist and the viewer an opportunity to see and to analyse discussions that occurred a long time ago as they unfold on the screen following the pace at which the original messages were sent and received.
